The Huron Community Garage Sale is always the second Saturday of June – rain or shine!
If you want to have a garage sale:
- Fill out our Garage Sale Google Form. You’ll be asked what items you will have and your location.
- Start sorting through your gently used household items and price them accordingly
- email info@huroncommunity.ca if you would like a GARAGE SALE sign to put on your lawn
How do I know who’s having a garage sale?
We’ll make and post a map of locations for buyers to look at.

It’s time to clean up the hood again! Join us at one of our 2 locations and show your love for the area.
We supply gloves, red bags and garbage pickers, you supply your time and energy and together we will make a difference in our community!
Drop by one of these locations:
- Huron Community Centre (HCC)
- Parkvale Park – Hydro Corridor
Red garbage bags can be left at either of these areas for a Monday pick up.
Can’t make it? Pop by the HCC, grab some red bags and gloves and fill the bags. Bring your filled bags back to one of the two locations before Monday.

1 – 4 pm
Eco Quest – an escape room puzzle game for the whole family. Go on an adventure to help save the earth!
Using Escape room puzzles, alongside your logical thinking and deducing skills, you can learn about the environment while having fun!
There are 8 puzzles for you to figure out. Each puzzle is based on an environmental theme. No escape room experience necessary.
Families should expect the game (and optional craft) to take anywhere from 40 – 60 min.

Valentine’s Day Card
- check out the table in the main foyer of the Community Centre with lot of paper hearts, stickers and markers for you to create your card.
- make as many as you want for your parents, siblings, grandparents, friends etc…
- when you’re done, show your card to one of the staff behind the desk and get a sweet treat from your HCA!

- choose one of our colouring sheets and to give to somoene you love OR to hang on our art wall
